Got this for my daughter for Christmas cause she lost the one she had before. Looks like this one works just as well as the original one, but she’s the expert not me, she’s a digital artist. It’s a good price and does what it’s supposed to do so not much to say. I’ll update with more info once my daughter has used it for a bit.

I have the gray stylus. The pen is easy to turn on and off. It responds well when I use it to work on PDFs on my ipad. It stays locked in when i put it into my magnetic ipad stylus holder. It is more lightweight and a bit smaller and less heavy than another stylus I have (see photo)-but works similarly. If you like heavy feel in your pen-you might find this a little less pleasant to write with. The box came with two extra tips.

As soon as I took the pen out of the package it worked with my iPad Air. I didn’t have to set up through Bluetooth or struggle to connect so that is already a huge plus. The size is perfect, and fits in the pen slot in my case snuggly. I downloaded a sketchbook app to play around with it, and it works very smoothly and is extremely accurate. It doesn’t mark or scratch the screen at all, and it feels smoother than writing on actual paper. I didn’t see any learning curve with this at all, just go with it and it works perfectly.It is significantly cheaper than an apple pen, and seems to be an excellent alternative. To turn it on or off, you just tap the top and it responds immediately. The only thing I did notice is that the pen has turned off randomly on me, but I can’t be completely sure that I’m not accidentally touching the top when adjusting my grip, so it isn’t a big deal.Battery life seems pretty good, used for a few hours already, and no indication of dying yet. It also comes with two replacement tips. Definitely recommend this!

…I was pretty excited about getting this product. When I got it, I was like a kid in a candy store. I took it out of the box and tapped the top of the pen, saw the blue light quickly power on and I started doodling. Here is where the disappointment sat in, the moment of truth.I spent quite a bit of time with it over the past few days and I found that I prefer both generations of the Apple Pencil better than I did this. To me Apple’s pencils are more accurate when it comes to sketching and doing digital art. If you want this to simply write notes with or for an older child, I’d recommend this. During my time sketching the pen would turn off on its own and mess up what I was working on. I swapped the tips out by unscrewing them to see if things would improve and it didn’t. Other than that it is a very cool concept and can be a good competitor to Apple if some upgrades were made.

I have been wanting an Apple Pencil for a long time, but put it off due to the cost of the Apple Pencil. When I saw this electronic stylus, I was skeptical that this stylus can compete with the Apple Pencil which is over 3x the price for a 1st gen and over 4x the price of this stylus for a 2nd gen Apple Pencil. To my surprise, this stylus functions very similar to an Apple Pencil. It responds very fast and writes/draws smoothly with good precision and no delay. The is palm rejection technology so it still works if your palm is touching the screen. The stylus has a magnetic side and can stick to the top of your iPad when you are not using it. There is no Bluetooth connection, all you need to do is touch the top of the pen to turn it on and start writing/drawing! It comes with a USB charging cable and 2 extra replacement tips for for hopefully years of use. The stylus is made of aluminum so it is fairly light considering it seems to be made of good quality material. If you are looking for a good quality electronic stylus for your iPad, this is a great option vs the expensive Apple Pencil.

I will admit that I do not have a whole of ultra-discerning criteria when it comes to stylus pens. The main thing that I wanted was a pen that is…easy to hold – CHECKeasy to connect to my device – CHECKgood battery life – SO FAR, IT IS WORKING GREATcompatibility over multiple devices – CHECKThe easy ON-OFF feature of the pen also contributes to the allure of this product.Overall, this pen works.
